My Story

Why I’m Running the Bath Half Marathon for the Oliver Steeper Foundation

Who says I can’t take on a half marathon? I started running in September 2024, after a long break from anything fitness related since having my son in 2022.

With the help of the Runna app, I’m embracing this challenge to prove that I can do hard things. Crossing that finish line in March 2025 is going to feel amazing - and raising money for such a meaningful cause will keep me going every step of the way.

The Oliver Steeper Foundation provides life-saving equipment, the LifeVac, to early years settings, a cause I’m deeply passionate about. Each device costs £60, and my goal is to raise enough to fund at least 10 of them.

Reading the story of Lewis and Zoe, and their son Oliver, truly touched my heart. I felt an instant connection to their mission after the tragic loss of their son. Their strength and dedication to preventing other families from going through the same heartbreak is beyond inspiring. No parent should ever have to experience such loss, and I’m proud to support the incredible work they are doing to save lives.

Any donation, big or small, will help this incredible charity continue their life-saving work. Your support means the world to me!
