My name is Toby and my wife and mother of my two children Henry (8 yrs old) and Leo (6 yrs old) died of breast cancer on the 2nd July after a two year battle, aged 42 yrs.

 

I am fundraising for Dorothy House Hospice Care who made her last few weeks special for her and her friends and family. Without them, her last days would have been unbearable.

 

A bit about Helen; she worked as a Public Health Consultant and her first day in the job was the first day of national lockdown. She worked tirelessly to create and manage her councils Covid and vaccination response and worked right up to the end of her life.

 

She died in Dorothy House Hospice surrounded by her family and never raged against the dying of her light, but strove forward determined to enjoy every last moment she could.

 

We miss her terribly but are privileged to have known her; a fabulous wife and wonderful mum.

 

Our target is £400 but any donation, no matter how small, would be amazing.
